Derek Cross Country

Derek had his first home cross country meet this week.

Derek and Anthony were so close going into the last mile

Derek had passed Anthony, then 

Anthony passed Derek just as he crossed the finish line.  Derek will have to watch is back closer next time.

Derek got a PR at this meet  18:53.  Third place in Kanab.  That is awesome!!  

That's just barely over a 6 minute mile.
